A new chapter in Amsterdam
Dear Friends of KLABU,
7 years ago, we launched KLABU, driven by the power of sport and community. Starting in Kenya with an orange container in the Kalobeyei Refugee Settlement, we never thought KLABU would become what it is today.
We also definitely never thought we would have a big beautiful store in Amsterdam, filled with colourful shirts and precious storytelling that could bring KLABU's unbeatable spirit and energy a bit closer to home.
Today, KLABU is a club reaching refugee communities across the world, from Kenya to Brazil, and from Jordan to Mauritania.
Our ambition drives us every day to build the world's biggest sports club, where sport and community belong to everyone, everywhere.

Getting there means choosing where we put our energy.
Right now, this means going all-in on the locations and communities where we can achieve that mission and dedicating more time and resources to building and improving clubhouses.
Saturdays are for the KLABU Run club: running, music and giggles over brunch.
Tuesdays: laughter echoes through the store as we play board games, chat and join the social workouts.
With that driving us, we have taken the tough decision to close our store in Amsterdam, that has welcomed so many of you over the years.
This isn't a goodbye – our weekly workouts and our community events will carry on and you'll find our sportswear online and through pop-ups and collabs.
