Including People With Disabilities
KLABU Azraq Spirit adidas Foundation

The KLABU team in the Azraq, Jordan, took an important step forward on how to make activities more inclusive for people with different abilities.

Before this, the clubhouse space was not completely safe and accessible for everyone - especially for children and people with disabilities - and not all activities were fully inclusive.

The result? The clubhouse managers rolled up their sleeves, and since the start of the year, every Thursday has been all about inclusive sports and activities for people with different abilities.

It’s not just the games that are changing. The space itself is being adapted too, as you can see in the photos, so everyone can take part comfortably and confidently.
Right now, 20 participants are taking part (12 women and 8 men). It may be a small group, but it’s a powerful start: a focused space to adapt and play. And it won’t be long before more people join; the energy is already contagious.

"When KLABU gives us our own space, I feel happy and confident. It shows that we matter - and that we can enjoy sport just like everyone else."
