On joins the KLABU!

It has been a long time coming and we are so happy to announce our unique 3-year partnership with Right To Run, On’s flagship social impact program, to expand our reach and unlock the power of sport for many new KLABU athletes in refugee camps and beyond.
You might’ve spotted their iconic shoes in our photos, heard about Nyagoa’s girls’ running club in Kalobeyei, or joined us on a run in Amsterdam. For the past two years, we’ve worked with On’s Right To Run program in different ways and now it’s time to officially announce our partnership!

Ready, set, go!
When we connected with On, we knew we had found the right partner. Their mission to ignite the human spirit through movement perfectly aligns with KLABU's goal of supporting refugees rebuilding their lives through sports.
At the start of 2024, On Right To Run equipped the KLABU girls’ mobiliser Nyagoa at the Kalobeyei clubhouse in Kenya, to set up the camp’s first girls’ running club. It has become a key moment every week for our athletes, who come together at the clubhouse to lace up their running shoes before setting off on a run around the camp.
That same pace is matched by our runners in Amsterdam every Saturday morning, for whom the Westerpark has become a place to jog but also meet up and build friendships that extend outside of the run club.

After Kalobeyei and Amsterdam, it is now time for us to announce a multi-year collaboration, started in 2024 and focused on setting up 3 new KLABU clubhouses across the world.
Each year of the partnership will see a new clubhouse be launched.
M’bera Spirit. Our first clubhouse with On came to life in the Mauritanian desert, close to the border with Mali. In M’bera refugee camp, the clubhouse is now the base for over 10,000 athletes.
Next stop: Commewijne Spirit. As some of you might know, On is not only known for their innovation in footwear and apparel for high-performance running, but it’s also about strong forehands, sliced backhands and precise serves on the tennis court. In 2025, KLABU taps into On’s expertise and launches a KLABU at Community Tennis Suriname, a unique club in Commewijne, where young children from the surrounding neighbourhoods are flourishing through tennis.
Details of our third joint project will be revealed later in 2025. What we can say now: just like M’bera and Commewijne, it’ll be a place for all to enjoy the power of play and connect with others.
