In Amsterdam, around 7,500 refugees and 15,000 undocumented migrants currently call the city home.
Many face challenges including loneliness, discrimination, and cultural or language barriers – and above all, finding ways to take part in local community life. KLABU strengthens their community spirit through the joy of sport and movement.

Oedipus’ Brand Architect, Victor Brangolo, captured KLABU’s spirit in designs inspired by the movement of energy seen in butterfly wings through infrared imagery.
The colourful visuals, he explains, “are a traversal for togetherness: our collective biopower and the shared experience of movement”, uniting insects, plants and humans alike.
Oedipus Brewing stands for creativity, curiosity and doing things differently. To launch the partnership and shirts, Oedipus hosted a community event at Skatecafe in Amsterdam, and created a live mural painting with Oedipus in-resident artist Jerry Ronda for KLABU's clubhouse & store!
